We Will See Wins First 'Pace Championship'

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J./Cotolo -- We Will See took the $174,250 U.S. Pacing Championship’s first division in 1:47.2, equaling the world record set by Hypnotic Blue Chip in the “Championship.” Aracache Hanover was second and Delmarvelous was third.
“Aracache” took the lead, with We Will See in second and Delmarvalous in third. Aracache went the quarter in 26.4. Approaching the half, Aracache had the lead, “See” was in second and Delmarvelous was in third. Won The West came first over in fourth. “West” was fading around the far turn. Aracache was in front at the top of the stretch, See circled out in second and gave chase to Aracache approaching the wire. See got up and Aracache gave way to finish second to See. Delmarvalous held on for third and Ideal Matters got up for fourth.

We Will See paid $5.40 to win. He is owned by Shannon De Pinto, Earl Smith and Jerry Silva, trained by Sam De Pinto and driven by Ron Pierce to a 1:47.2 victory.
