Winncinnatti went for the lead. Approaching the half, Sashay took the lead, Winncinnatti was in second and Bold And Fresh in third. Around the turn, Sashay went on a bad break, giving the lead to Jezzy. Crys Dream was on the outside and Bold And Fresh was coming outside. In the stretch, Crys Dream had the lead and Bold And Fresh was coming on. Lady Rainbow started her late trot. At the line, Bold And Fresh held off Lady Rainbow to win the $750,000 Hambletonian Oaks in 1:53.4. Lady Rainbow was second and Crys Dream was third.
Bold And Fresh paid $51.40 to win. She is owned by Donald Bartling, trained by Doug Miller and driven by George Brennan
