TRI’s Picks July 9 Meadowlands

Meadowlands Racetrack Pick 5, Races 1-5, Pick 4, Races 6-9

In the Pick 5, we had two winners, the second leg with Vic Smith ($2.80) and the third leg with Denyittotheend ($31.60). In the Pick 4 we had two winners, Pirovette Hanover ($4.60) and Mcflirty ($7). If you followed my advice, so far, you would have a profit of $8.60. I encourage you to keep on playing the tickets and the picks to win.

Pick 5

$1 Play: 12/2/34/9/25 = $8

Analysis:

Race 1- (1) Pet Rock came back into contention in the stretch and finished second. He gets post relief and that may help. (2) Hang Ten was interfered last time out, came first over and was interfered again. If he can get a clean trip, he will be monstrous.

Race 2- After a magnificent effort in his first showcasing, (2) I Fought Dalaw gets some post relief this week. He may race better.

Race 3- (3) E Street Plan paced the mile well in his most recent appearance. He gets some post help this week. (4) Mybrothergeorge made a huge recovery after breaking at the start in the New Jersey Sires Stakes (NJSS). If he stays flat, he will be the one to beat.

Race 4- (9) Heart Of Rocknroll paced the mile well in his most recent attempt. He has already won in this company and the outside should be a plus for him.

Race 5- (2) Custard The Dragon may show what he is capable of doing again tonight in the Meadowlands Pace elim. Since he won the “Hempt,” he has been tough to beat. (5) Roll With Joe paced well in the North America Cup. He may improve tonight, since he knows the Meadowlands oval.

Pick 4

$2 Play: 36/12/4/5 = $8

Race 6- (3) Big Jim came close to winning the North America Cup with the team’s new strategy of stalking the pace. He won his first start of the year at the Meadowlands and may bring a price tonight. (6) Powerful Mist is the one to beat here. He is major division contender.

Race 7- (1) Mega Lightning had a bad trip in his most recent mile, coming off of a long layoff and was hung in that event. The rail may help. (2) Corky Baran was first over last time out and hung for a spell. If he can get the trip, he will be in contention.

Race 8- (4) Best Man Hanover beat Meadowlands Pace-contender High Noon in the NJSS. He will be the one to beat in here.

Race 9- After finishing second with a first-over trip, (5) Hit Away may get the advantage in this poor field. If he doesn’t get into trouble, he will be on the board.
