Box Filled with 23 Entrants for Saturday Classic

The $1.2-million Hambletonian, set to contest this Saturday, had a group of 23 glamour boy trotters enter into the event. Three eliminations will be held on Saturday for $70,000 each, with 10 returning to the final later in the afternoon. The top three from each elimination plus the fourth place finisher with the highest career earnings will contest in the 87th renewal of the trotting classic.

The draw for the Hambletonian card is set for 3 P.M. this afternoon. Note that Banco Solo is also entered in the $100,000 Townsend Ackerman trot this Friday.
