Analysis:
Race 6- (1) Valdez closed well from post 7 against
tougher company. He draws the rail and steps down this week and may go off at
some sort of price.
Race 7- (5) Speed Mcqueen just strolled along last
time. Before that, he was aggressive, going first over and claiming the lead,
but quitting later. He steps down today and may bomb out this ticket. (6) Crown
Lady steps down after finishing a close third. She should be sharp and perhaps
a favorite.
Race 8- (3) Dig For Dollars went a game mile in the
Arthur Cutler. Although he was far back, he was first over early and never got
his act together. He was a good third against top conditioned company at
Woodbine earlier in the year and may surprise the public this week to show what
he’s got. (9) The Evictor is coming off three straight victories in the Opens
at Tioga. He was won them all valiantly and may be ignored as he’s shipping
from Tioga.
Race 9- (6) Celebrity Playboy trotted a tough first over, cleared and held his bid just to lose positioning against similar last time. He should get a better trip and provide a mild upset.
